Rebtex, Inc. has been located in Somerset County, New Jersey for over 30 years. The family-owned company originally began in 1921, when Robert Brandell Sr.’s father-in-law, Andrew J. Ackerman, established the United Veil Dyeing and Finishing Company in Paterson, New Jersey. In 1939, Ackerman re-established the business in Jersey City where Robert Brandell Sr. joined in 1955, after serving in the armed services. Robert Brandell Sr. expanded the business in 1985 and opened Rebtex in Somerset County, New Jersey, where the business is currently lead by three of their five children, Robert Jr., Thomas, and Michele.

The 110,000 square foot, fully equipped textile facility contains the latest technology to meet customer needs. Rebtex can commission dye, finish and print on an extensive range of fabrics and substrates.  Producing approximately 50,000 yards of finished fabric a day the manufacturing facility has the capability to service almost all substrates and fabrics. A newly renovated, onsite laboratory can quickly provide quality results as well as send a finished production sample.
